About Me
„Körber, Gabor Körber“
I am a Software Developer residing with my family in Vienna.
I have a deep interest in nature and the natural sciences, but also history and philosophy.
I also have a very special connection to writing, both as in the literary profession, but also as a programmer writing code.
Professionally I have been working mostly with Python, JavaScript or Java in either Kiosk Applications or Backend Services.
Privately I enjoy programming in Rust, and also have great experience with C# mainly in Unity3d.
My interest in coding started with the age of 12, mainly also because I wanted to create computer games.
My first languages were Basic and Pascal, so I see a lot of things not from a C or TypeScript background.
After finishing High School, I tried myself in Non-Computer topics and studied Medicine, but I decided to drop out in the last third, as it became clear that I did not want to be a physician.
Programming and Computer Science kept calling me back, which is why ultimately it has since become my profession.
